the crows on doggett and sydney streets - 100 drawings in 100 days

yesterday, i was thinking about my daily drawing, when i remembered that once in my life, i had witnessed a crow burial in the park in oklahoma city. i had no idea what was going on, so i watched, and as i did, something beautiful unfolded before my eyes: the death ceremony of the crows. it was absolutely astonishing! i went home immediately and googled it, read about it, and found that what i had witnessed was indeed true.
how very clever and intelligent those birds are! so, they have been a constant muse for me ever since. and yesterday was no exception. clockwise from the top, (i have always wanted to say that in print, even though it doesn't really apply here as there are only two images, i get to say it!) i have drawn "the crow on doggett street", and "the crow on sydney street".
so, here's to the glorious crow, may they be forever beautiful.
